I'm trying to decide whether I'm rooting for the players or the owners. It's kind of like the NHL. I grew up with hockey all around me - except no NHL team for whom to root. So, who do I root for?
Right now, I'm rooting for the fans! I liked the NFL players' commercials: "Let us play!"

For the NBA, I want to go with something similar: "Let them stay!"
Take a year off. I don't care. Maybe GOOD basketball will come back. Maybe not. But really, who cares?! Except maybe fans can actually gain from this ... by not spending all their hard-earned money on an inferior product.
